Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) are a category of Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs), which verify that one megawatt-hour of electricity was generated and fed into a grid from an eligible renewable source (1 MWh = 1 REC).
Through the use of RECs, you can make reliable, globally-accepted claims about your energy usage, such as;
“My factory runs on 100% renewable energy”
“Our products are made with 100% renewable energy”
“Our electricity usage causes zero emissions”
As the official Device Registrant in Sri Lanka for the non-profit I-REC Standard Foundation of The Netherlands, CCC can verify and register your renewable energy project under the I-REC Standard, then monitor and manage the RECs it generates on the global-REC Registry by issuing and redeeming against the electricity usage of a selected operational entity.
