CCC worked with Closely, a new progressive sustainable Swedish underwear and sportswear brand for women (www.closely-official.com), to determine the carbon footprint for their 23 selected launch products. The project included a comprehensive assessment of emissions that arise during production, from the point of raw material extraction to dispatch of finished goods from the factory gate to their distribution center in Sweden. This also included coordinating data from global suppliers and analyzing the greenhouse gas emissions that are emitted across the supply chain to determine hotspots. Closely has the intention to be carbon neutral when launching in October 2020 – by offset emissions from its products and own operations - by supporting an international carbon offset project. Closely has the aim to stay carbon neutral and to work actively in reducing their carbon footprint.
