Prof. Munasinghe is Founder Chairman of Munasinghe Institute for Development (MIND) and MIND Group, Sri Lanka; Hon. Senior Advisor to Govt. of Sri Lanka; Chairman of Presidential Expert Committee on Sustainable Sri Lanka 2030 Vision; and Distinguished Guest Professor at Peking Univ., China. He was Senior Advisor/Manager, World Bank, Washington DC (covering sustainable development, environment, energy, water, transport); and Director-General, Sustainable Consumption Institute, Manchester University.
He has degrees in Physics, Engineering and Economics, from Cambridge Univ., UK; MIT, USA; and McGill Univ. and Concordia Univ., Canada, and several honorary doctorates. He was 2021 Blue Planet Prize Laureate (also called ‘Environmental Nobel Prize’); shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize as Vice-Chair of UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC-AR4); and received other awards. He authored 120 books and 400+ scientific papers.
Fazal is the Executive Director Avarua Ventures (Pvt) Ltd and of Rainco (Pvt) Ltd – a privately held manufacturing and distribution business focusing on a range of home utility products in Sri Lanka, India and the Maldives.
With a passion for marketing and brand management, he is also a Director and Chief Strategist for six subsidiaries of the Rainco Group, which vary from home decor to outdoor lifestyle and packaging. His interest in green space paved the way to start the Conservation Carbon Company and the Carbon Consulting Company.
Fazal received his primary and secondary education from Trinity College Kandy, and later received his MBA from the University of Wales.


A graduate in law from the University of Oxford, Subra is the co-founder of the Carbon Consulting Company and its sister firm, the Conservation Carbon Company.
He is also the Deputy Chairman of Eswaran Brothers Exports (Pvt) Ltd – the tea exporting arm of the Eswaran Brothers Group, as well as of T-Print, a company that specialises in printing tags and labels for the packaging industry.

Subra has spoken extensively at international events on environmental conservation and is also a recipient of the JCI TOYP Award for Environmental Leadership.
Sanith is the Director & CEO of The Climate & Conservation Consortium (CCC) as well as its consulting arm CCC Consultants LLC based in Dubai. He is also the Director & CEO of The Conservation Carbon Company – a purpose driven company set up to develop forestry and nature-based solutions for carbon sequestration as well as community based forestry and bio diversity related projects. With over 12 years of experience in the fields of sustainability and conservation, he had his Executive Education at Stanford University and his Sustainability Leadership education at Harvard University. He also holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management of the University of Sri Jayewardenapura and is an Attorney-at-Law by qualification.
