One of Sri Lanka’s leading producers of the most exquisite high-quality premium tea that have 13 estates, which cover an area of more than 8800 hectares conducted a comprehensive GHG assessment for them to pinpoint areas where emissions reductions could be possible. The CCC team carried out an organisational GHG assessment that was based on the WBCSD/WRI GHG Protocol, which is also compliant with the Carbon Disclosure Project. Key areas of inefficiency were highlighted, and solutions were provided by the CCC team thus enabling them to reduce their carbon footprint from all 3 Scopes.
