Walkers Tours have measured various types of emissions sources such as, Company-owned vehicles, Hired Vehicles and Electricity transmission and distribution losses within the premises. As part of our communications and marketing offering, we also assisted Walkers Tours with their PR, thereby gaining more publicity for their sustainable initiatives. This significant effort towards better environmental consciousness and reduction of the operational impact of Walkers Tours’ fleet on global emissions was recently recognised by the developer of The CarbonNeutral® Protocol, Natural Capital Partners of the UK, who presented their long-standing global climate supporters with a special commemorative plaque as well.
